Dynamic start to ENDF Conference

Yesterday was the first day of the 2014 Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation (EDNF) Learning Conference in Houston. Seeing longtime friends of the TMJ Treatment Center and Dr. Mitakides along with meeting new ones has been wonderful and is always one of the best parts of this conference. Once the conference began, Dr. Mitakides hosted “Meet the Doctor” one-on-one information sessions with patients. These meetings were a great opportunity for patients to speak with leading doctors in the EDS field.

The TMJ Treatment Center is proud to announce that Jane Mitakides, Dr. Mitakdes’ wife of 32 years, has been named to the EDNF board of directors. Jane has worked with EDNF for several years and is passionate about the cause and becoming involved with the foundation.

“I am deeply honored to accept this position,” said Jane Mitakides about the appointment to the board, which became official at their annual board meeting on Tuesday, July 10, 2014.
